I had a quick project over the weekend. A buddy wanted to upgrade all of his lighting on his 2017 Tacoma. The factory stuff looks great but he wanted to really make the truck look like new. I think the results speak for themselves. I didn't do a how to on this one as we were trying to push this one out quick. The install was very quick and easy. The front bumper has to come off. Please enjoy the pics and the video of the completed project. The 8 year old Halogen headlights were not just aging the truck but also were somewhat inefficient to drive at night. This is a problem that I do plan to address on the Tundra at some point too.

The process will involve removing the grill and the front bumper as you can see in the pictures. The hardest part of the process is removing the bumper as it's kind of cumbersome. Once you get past removing the bumper it's all matter of pulling the headlights quickly and remove and replace. The price of these Morimoto's is truly staggering to me. I love the look of them but cannot believe the retail price for them. Gotta pay to play I guess! They truly do look very well built however. I'd say better than OEM. The gasket's etc nothing felt cheap with the headlights.

Finished Product. We also took the opportunity since everything was off to install the raptor grill light conversion. The finished product speaks for itself. On startup it has a white glow in the headlight that changes to amber running lights and turn signals.

Finally we installed the Vland rear tail lights and the OPT7 Tail light bar. It looks really great and will definitely call the attention to anyone driving behind the truck. Install was stupidly simple. with the additional plug in connections. Enjoy the lightshow!
